Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Support Skilled Trades: Provide direct support to carpenters, electricians, and plumbers by fetching tools and materials.
- General Labor: Perform various manual tasks including sweeping, cleaning, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic power tools and equipment safely under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We welcome applicants with zero prior construction experience who are willing to learn.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to perform heavy physical labor, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work well within a team.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver’s license preferred (not always mandatory for entry-level roles).
- High School Diploma: High school diploma or GED is a plus but not strictly required.
