Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators with material handling and site preparation
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying construction materials
- Operate hand/power tools safely under supervision (e.g., shovels, saws, drills)
- Maintain clean and organized job sites by removing debris and hazardous materials
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing operations as needed
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum 6 months construction or manual labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in outdoor conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction terminology
- Strong teamwork skills and punctuality
- Pre-employment drug screening required
