Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Site Preparation: Clear job sites of debris, dig trenches, and prepare areas for foundation work or landscaping.
- Assist Trades: Provide general labor assistance to carpenters, electricians, and masons as directed.
- Tool Operation: Utilize hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and levels, to perform basic construction tasks.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Clean-up: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training is provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs), stand for extended periods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Reliability: Punctual attendance and a strong work ethic are essential.
