Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials on job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with daily operations.
- Perform general site maintenance, including cleanup, debris removal, and excavation support.
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment (hand and power tools).
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and site regulations.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and site layouts when directed.
- Set up and take down temporary site barriers and signage.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and capable of performing heavy labor in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different construction tasks.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience with heavy machinery operation is a plus but not required.
