Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks including framing, drywall, and basic carpentry.
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling the ground.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with all safety regulations.
- Read and understand basic blueprints, diagrams, and work orders.
- Perform physical labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly and perform strenuous physical labor.
- Basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and estimating materials.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Experience with construction tools and equipment is a plus but not required.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and follow strict safety protocols.
- Strong reliability and punctuality.
