Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy construction equipment, including forklifts, skid steers, and jackhammers, safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials at job sites to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Assist skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and masons with various tasks and setups.
- Perform site preparation duties including digging, leveling, concrete pouring, and framing.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and site plans to understand project requirements.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and quality standards on every shift.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
- Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and calculating material quantities.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
