Responsibilities
- Perform general construction tasks including site preparation, excavation, and cleanup.
- Assist skilled tradesmen with framing, drywall, and finishing tasks.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently according to safety guidelines.
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow blueprints and instructions provided by site supervisors.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards and OSHA regulations.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not always required.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a team setting.
