Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks and organize them at the job site.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and tools, including forklifts, jackhammers, and concrete mixers (training provided).
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing waste and securing tools at the end of the shift.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) by carrying supplies and performing manual tasks.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe worksite for everyone.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal instructions from supervisors.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are preferred.
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and eagerness to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
