As a Construction Laborer at Apex Skilled Trades, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations, ensuring our projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform general construction tasks including loading, unloading, and carrying materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various on-site duties.
- Operate heavy machinery and power tools safely and in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Prepare and clean job sites, ensuring debris is removed and areas are safe.
- Follow blueprints, diagrams, and verbal instructions to complete tasks accurately.
- Monitor site conditions and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a team environment.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and able to perform heavy labor for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push materials weighing up to 50+ pounds.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols (OSHA) is a plus but not required.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new skills.
