Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling tasks
- Operate heavy machinery safely including forklifts and earthmovers
- Install and remove temporary construction barriers and safety signage
- Assist skilled tradesmen with concrete, framing, and finishing work
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and proper waste disposal
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic hand/power tool proficiency (drills, saws, grinders)
- Strong physical stamina and ability to stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Reliable transportation and punctuality for weekend shifts
