Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, cleanup, and maintenance of job sites daily.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery under the supervision of foremen.
- Follow all safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, and company protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
- Help skilled tradespeople with various tasks including framing, drywalling, concrete pouring, and painting.
- Perform basic measurements and assist with site surveying tasks as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project efficiency.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of construction terminology is a plus.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn new skills and work collaboratively in a team setting.
