Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding under supervision.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site efficiently.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and equipment (e.g., power drills, saws, levels) safely and correctly.
- Support Skilled Trades: Provide essential support to carpenters, electricians, and masons as directed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Cleaning & Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized worksite, including trash removal and equipment cleanup.
- Documentation: Assist with basic site inspections and logging daily activities when required.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends or early mornings as needed.
- Driverās License: A valid driverās license and reliable transportation are preferred.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for spotting potential safety hazards or defects.
