Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, and plumbers) with daily operations and project tasks.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment, including power drills, saws, and levels.
- Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, layouts, and specifications.
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Perform minor site preparation and cleanup duties as directed.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to learn and follow safety instructions.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- High school diploma or GED preferred (but not required for entry-level positions).
