As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in our projects, ensuring that every job site is ready for success. We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn and committed to quality.
Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear debris, dig trenches, and prepare building sites according to blueprints and specifications.
- Material Handling: Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and move them to the job site.
- Assisting Trades: Support skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers as needed.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment, including forklifts, skid steers, and generators safely.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized job site, adhering to all safety and environmental regulations.
- Measurement: Assist in measuring and cutting materials to ensure precise fit and alignment.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Previous construction or general labor experience is preferred but not required (on-the-job training provided).
- Tools: Ability to use basic hand tools (hammers, saws, levels) and power tools.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record are required.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work overtime as needed.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
