Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with various on-site tasks including mixing concrete, hauling materials, and cleaning the work area.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under supervision.
- Load and unload lumber, bricks, and other building materials from delivery trucks.
- Ensure the job site is clean, organized, and safe in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Perform general digging, trenching, and leveling duties as directed by the foreman.
- Follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not mandatory.
