Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople, including carpenters and electricians, with daily site tasks.
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials and tools efficiently.
- Operate basic power tools and heavy machinery under direct supervision.
- Perform site cleanup, including debris removal, trash disposal, and sweeping.
- Measure, cut, and handle building materials (wood, concrete, drywall) accurately.
- Follow all safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, and site protocols strictly.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (preferred, but not required).
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for measuring and estimating material needs.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including heat and rain.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work well within a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
