Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and prepare construction materials and tools on-site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople, including carpenters and electricians, with daily tasks.
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and correctly.
- Follow all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company guidelines.
- Perform basic measurements and math calculations for material ordering and cutting.
- Unload trucks and distribute materials efficiently to work areas.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices and PPE usage.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and take direction from supervisors.
