Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack building materials (lumber, concrete, drywall) at the job site.
- Site Support: Assist carpenters, electricians, and other tradespeople with daily tasks and projects.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely under supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure safety compliance.
- Demolition & Prep: Perform basic demolition duties and prepare surfaces for finishing.
- Weather Adaptability: Work outdoors in various weather conditions as required.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: No prior construction experience is required. A willingness to learn is essential.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and perform manual labor.
- Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to work.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work as part of a team.
