Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and tools (such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and generators) under supervision.
- Quality Control: Help ensure work areas are clean, organized, and adhere to safety regulations and site protocols.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with skilled tradespeople and other laborers to complete projects on schedule and within budget.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing on uneven terrain.
- Driver's License: A valid driverβs license and a clean driving record are required for site transport.
- Safety Awareness: A strong commitment to safety protocols and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Experience: Prior construction or labor experience is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
