Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters and electricians, with daily tasks and installations.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently, including saws, drills, and levels.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting forms.
- Perform site cleanup and maintenance to ensure a safe and organized work environment.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company-specific safety protocols strictly.
- Perform basic measurements and cutting as directed by supervisors or foremen.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety and the ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Valid Driver’s License is preferred for site transportation.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive team attitude.
- Basic math skills are helpful for measuring and estimating material needs.
- No prior experience is necessary; we are looking for eager learners.
