Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and distribute building materials, tools, and supplies to and from job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various construction tasks.
- Operate basic construction equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and skid steers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Perform site preparation work, including digging, leveling, and concrete finishing.
- Perform minor repairs and clean up tasks to ensure project quality standards are met.
Qualifications
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor for long hours.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly without strain.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols and procedures.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
