Responsibilities
- Perform general physical labor on construction sites, including digging, lifting, and moving materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, such as framing, drywall hanging, and concrete finishing.
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and regulations.
- Load and unload building materials from trucks and distribute them to the work area.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under supervision.
- Measure, cut, and fit materials according to blueprints and specifications.
- Perform site cleanup and maintenance tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety procedures is a plus but not required.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
