Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators with daily tasks
- Prepare job sites by cleaning, organizing tools, and setting up safety barriers
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Perform basic demolition, excavation, and debris removal
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Operate hand tools (hammers, shovels, levels) under supervision
- Complete daily progress reports and time sheets accurately
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Must be physically able to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions
- Valid driver's license preferred (not mandatory)
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and adhere to safety guidelines
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
- Basic math skills for measurements and material counts
