Responsibilities
- Assist in various construction tasks including site preparation, excavation, and cleanup.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Operate hand and power tools under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors and site managers.
- Perform physical labor such as digging, lifting, and carrying heavy items (50+ lbs).
- Assist in the assembly and dismantling of temporary structures and scaffolding.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand, walk, and work on your feet for long periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
- Strong work ethic and reliability are mandatory.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly without injury.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not always required.
