Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling with precision
- Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, jackhammers, and power tools safely
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Assist skilled trades (carpenters, masons, electricians) in complex installations
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and manage waste disposal efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications accurately
- Participate in daily briefings and contribute to project timeline optimization
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of verified commercial construction experience
- OSHA 10/30 certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficiency with power tools and construction machinery
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
