Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing, excavating, and leveling areas.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Equipment Operation: Operate power tools and light machinery, including forklifts, jackhammers, and concrete mixers under supervision.
- Support Trades: Provide assistance to skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) as needed to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the job site clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations at all times.
- Quality Control: Help ensure work meets project specifications and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous construction or labor experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Communication: Basic English skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset.
