Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including carpentry, framing, and concrete work.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Perform basic measurements and read simple blueprints or schematics.
- Remove debris, rubble, and waste from the construction area.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the site supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards is a plus.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
