Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Tool Operation: Operate hand and power tools safely under the guidance of experienced supervisors.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and masons, as needed.
- Measurement: Help with basic measurements and site layout tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs).
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Tools: Willingness to learn to operate various construction tools and equipment.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
