Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks.
- Operate heavy machinery and power tools safely under supervision.
- Perform general site cleanup, debris removal, and equipment maintenance.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials as directed by the site foreman.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the day.
- Basic physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license is a plus, but not strictly required.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
