Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up equipment
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling and tool management
- Follow blueprints and safety protocols for excavation and foundation work
- Operate basic machinery like jackhammers, saws, and drills under supervision
- Perform concrete pouring, finishing, and curing tasks
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to prevent hazards
- Complete daily progress reports and inventory checks
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Willingness to work outdoors in extreme Arizona temperatures
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and adapt to changing priorities
