Responsibilities
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under direct supervision.
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks including framing, concrete pouring, and roofing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Perform physical tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and setting up temporary structures.
- Follow verbal and written instructions to complete daily assignments accurately.
- Inspect tools and equipment for defects and report maintenance needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not always required.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read simple measurements.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
