Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in site preparation, including digging, leveling, and clearing areas for construction activities.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Equipment Operation: Operate power tools and construction equipment under the supervision of a foreman.
- Assistance: Support carpenters, electricians, and plumbers with various tasks as needed.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by cleaning up debris and tools.
- Documentation: Accurately complete daily logs and time sheets.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- License: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Tools: Basic understanding of hand tools and power tools.
- Communication: Strong ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with the crew.
