Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with daily tasks and installations.
- Perform site preparation, including clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Load and unload construction materials from trucks using forklifts or hand tools.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Measure, cut, and handle lumber and building materials accurately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required; we train the right attitude.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for long periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, rain, humidity).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Basic knowledge of construction terminology and safety protocols.
