Responsibilities
- Perform general physical labor including digging, lifting, and moving materials on construction sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as directed.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from trucks.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Clean and prepare job sites, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials as needed for projects.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards is a plus.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required.
- Previous construction experience is a plus, but on-the-job training is available.
