Responsibilities
- Execute precise excavation, grading, and earthwork operations using heavy machinery
- Install and remove temporary construction scaffolding and safety barriers
- Operate power tools (jackhammers, saws, drills) and hand tools with precision
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and site preparation
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Maintain clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant work zones
- Read and interpret blueprints, safety protocols, and project schedules
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Class B CDL license or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Proficient with power tools and heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts)
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to work independently and in fast-paced team environments
