Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) with precision and safety protocols
- Assist carpenters and masons with material installation and structural work
- Maintain clean, organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Perform preventative equipment maintenance and daily inspections
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
- Adhere to strict safety guidelines during all nighttime operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Basic power tool operation skills (saws, drills, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation to job sites across metro KC
