Responsibilities
- Execute physical labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Assist skilled tradespeople with carpentry, masonry, and concrete work
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and job site cleanliness
- Read and interpret construction blueprints and project specifications
- Operate heavy machinery (forklifts, excavators) with proper certifications
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized storage areas
- Participate in project planning meetings and daily progress updates
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction experience or equivalent vocational training
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and flexible schedules
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement proficiency
