Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment on-site.
- Machinery Operation: Operate heavy machinery, such as forklifts and scissor lifts, under supervision.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up barriers.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with various tasks as needed.
- Cleanup: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing waste and debris regularly.
- Measurement: Measure, cut, and shape materials according to blueprints and specifications.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required; we will train the right candidates.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (typically 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a full-time basis.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team leads and fellow workers.
- Tools: Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus.
- Safety Conscious: Must be willing to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
