Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision (e.g., shovels, saws, drills)
- Load and unload construction materials safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety standards
- Follow instructions from site supervisors and adhere to all safety protocols
- Support various phases of construction projects including framing, demolition, and finishing
- Participate in team-based tasks to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – training provided
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
- Willingness to work night shifts (typically 6 PM - 6 AM) in all weather conditions
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and following instructions
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Reliable transportation to job sites in Nashville, TN and Ohio areas
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
