Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing materials
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) for excavation and demolition tasks
- Load/unload heavy equipment and materials using forklifts and cranes
- Assist skilled trades with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing operations
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Perform site cleanup and waste management in compliance with environmental regulations
- Complete daily progress reports and equipment maintenance logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and clean MVR record
- Proficient with basic hand/power tools and construction machinery
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety excellence
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays for project deadlines
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
