Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) and OSHA safety standards
- Diagnose electrical faults using diagnostic tools and testing equipment
- Coordinate with project managers and team members to meet deadlines
- Train junior electricians on best practices and safety protocols
- Perform system inspections and prepare detailed maintenance reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid Nebraska electrician license (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local regulations
- OSHA 10-hour certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
