Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, demolition, and material handling tasks with precision and safety compliance
- Operate power tools (jackhammers, saws, drills) and heavy machinery under supervision
- Maintain site cleanliness and hazard prevention protocols
- Assist skilled trades in concrete pouring, framing, and finishing operations
- Load/unload construction materials using forklifts and rigging equipment
- Adhere to OSHA standards and project-specific safety guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet nightly production targets
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor or related field experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform strenuous physical tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement skills
- Availability to work 10-hour night shifts (6 PM - 4 AM)
- Competent with hand/power tools and construction equipment
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
