Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, and framing under supervision
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy equipment safely (forklifts, jackhammers)
- Load/unload materials and maintain organized job site cleanliness
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Assist skilled trades (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with material prep
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance reports
- Participate in emergency response drills and site security protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or heavy labor experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme conditions
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Strong teamwork communication skills
