Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation during overnight shifts
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) and power tools following OSHA standards
- Maintain site cleanliness, debris removal, and hazardous material disposal
- Assist skilled trades with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing operations
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Collaborate with day crews for seamless project transitions
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience or relevant trade apprenticeship
- OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather
- Basic blueprint reading skills and material measurement knowledge
- Overnight shift availability (6 PM - 6 AM) with flexible scheduling
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Experience operating heavy machinery preferred
