Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and stack building materials such as lumber, bricks, and concrete blocks with the use of hand tools or power equipment.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) by performing tasks such as digging, cleaning, and preparing job sites.
- Operate power tools, including saws, drills, and compressors, safely and efficiently.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a secure work environment for all crew members.
- Transport heavy materials across the job site using dollies, hand trucks, or forklifts when necessary.
- Perform basic cleanup duties to maintain a clutter-free and organized workspace.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and site plans to understand project requirements.
Qualifications
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (typically 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices.
