Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and equipment operation on construction sites
- Assist skilled trades with concrete pouring, scaffolding setup, and structural assembly
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and light machinery safely
- Read blueprints and follow site supervisor instructions precisely
- Complete daily equipment maintenance checks and report defects
- Participate in emergency response drills and site security protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience or trade school certification
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Strong stamina for 8-10 hour overnight shifts (6 PM - 4 AM)
- Basic math skills for material calculations and measurements
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
