Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (e.g., forklifts, jackhammers) with precision and safety protocols
- Assist carpenters and masons with material setup and structural support
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and project blueprints
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless workflow execution
- Document progress and report site irregularities to site supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or heavy labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Flexible availability for night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong teamwork ethic and clear communication abilities
