Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, earthmoving, and site preparation tasks
- Operate heavy machinery (bobcats, excavators) with precision
- Install and remove construction scaffolding and safety barriers
- Maintain clean, OSHA-compliant job sites daily
- Collaborate with engineers and skilled trades on complex builds
- Perform concrete pouring, finishing, and curing operations
- Conduct pre-shift equipment safety inspections
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Valid Virginia driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs repeatedly
- Availability for 12-hour night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Blueprint reading and layout experience
- Heavy machinery operation certifications preferred
