Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and equipment operation under night-shift conditions
- Assist with site preparation, excavation, and foundation work
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and construction machinery safely
- Read blueprints and follow construction plans with precision
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Collaborate with skilled tradesmen (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) on complex projects
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Flexible schedule availability (6 PM - 6 AM shifts, weekends as needed)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
