Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation during night shifts
- Operate heavy machinery (forklifts, excavators) with proper safety certifications
- Inspect work areas and report hazards to site supervisors
- Maintain clean, organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Collaborate with tradespeople (electricians, plumbers) for seamless project execution
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Complete daily progress reports and time documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding conditions
- Basic math skills for material calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Greater New Orleans
- Flexibility for extended night hours (6 PM - 6 AM)
